Do you have a date yet?
No, of course you don't have a date yet! (surprise! surprise!) Well, here is a surprise for you! I have possibly found something (not a person) that might date you! Why don't you date Palm? (Not sure even a date palm would like to...)
Date Palms are ideal for surviving in the desert, and no, unfortunately, they don't want to date you, you dummy. The first berry-like fruit that the tree will produce will be when they are around 8 years old. It will then continue to produce dates for more than 20 years after that. When the dates are ripe, they get dried so it doesn't turn bad. Date palms produces oil which can be used to produce camel feed. The leaves of palm dates are also barbed, preventing camels from eating them up.
Next time you eat a date, stop and think (if your skull isn't empty) about how very remarkable it is. And... don't hold a grudge against them just because they don't want to go out with you. You really are not that good looking to be honest... Sad but true!
